Madeira River Holdings is a data and AI–driven investment platform that takes equity positions in small and mid-sized businesses, often in sectors targeted for private equity roll-ups such as healthcare and other regulated, asset-intensive industries. We deploy capital, technology, and applied mathematics to create measurable operating and financial upside.

We partner with boards, C-suites, and sponsors to identify data-science driven value creation levers, then build and operate the data/AI infrastructure required to capture that upside. Our team are seasoned operators with deep experience across industrial assets, healthcare, and multi-jurisdictional holdings.

Most legacy businesses were architected without data as a core asset, so data became an afterthought bolted onto siloed systems and processes. Our proprietary Data-First operating model governs how data is generated, consumed, and monetized across an organization. It focuses on eliminating technical debt, streamlining data-hungry model pipelines, and tying data-quality directly to economic incentives — turning data into a compounding asset rather than a cost center.

Across prior platforms and mandates, we have driven over $1B+ in EBIT growth and mitigated more than $250MM in asset maintenance–related liabilities, in environments ranging from asset-heavy industrial operators to global, multi-entity holdings under GDPR and CCPA.
